prawn katsu & fried chicken bao

Tokki

Surry Hills90 for two

Japanese and Korean are both cuisines that I adore so Tokki really satisfied my tastebuds. Tokki definitely gives off funky vibes with loud music, the pink neon sign with modern decor.

The dishes are best experienced in a group so you can try a bunch of share plates. We were a party of 2 and there were so many more dishes I wanted to try so we'll definitely be back.

Pork & Kimchi Kyoza
Pork & Kimchi Kyoza ($18)

My favourite was the pork and kimchi kyoza all the flavours and textures paired beautifully. You get the crunch from the shell, sweetness in the peach cream and juicy pork belly. I really loved the kimchi it tasted sweeter than any other kimchi I've had before. ⠀

Katsu Katsu
Katsu Katsu ($18)

The katsu katsu was such a fun take on a classic Australian chicken parmy. I really enjoyed the

Fried chicken bao & Prawn katsu bao ($7 each)

Fried chicken is a very popular dish here so I ordered a fried chicken bao and it was so crispy and delicious! 🤩⠀
